How to Add an Addition?
Summary
Additions are optional add-ons that correspond to a specific master plan that a buyer has the option to choose from for their new home. For example, adding an extra bedroom, media room, garage, bathroom, etc. to the approved floor plan. Not all plans will have approved additions, however, if they do the XO will affect the approved square footage ranges as it applies to the plan for the particular addition, and pricing.
When an extra bedroom, bathroom, or garage space is included as addition, the maximum value for the range of that floor plan will increase as well. For example, if the plan starts with 3 bedrooms, and an Addition for an extra bedroom is added to that plan the maximum bedroom amount will be increased to 4 bedrooms.
How to submit an Addition
In the XO, users can submit an Addition under a Plan/Elevation in the community. This article shows how to properly submit an Addition.
Adding an Addition
Step 1
From the Master Plans homepage begin the submittal of adding a new Addition. Select on the plan/elevation in which the Addition should be applied. For example, the Bovale is selected below boxed in RED.
Step 2
Under the main image of the master plan, notice an + Addition button highlighted in RED. To begin adding an Addition, click on on that button.
Step 3
Next, complete the fields below in order to add the Addition to the plan/elevation. Once the details for the addition are completed, click Submit an Addition highlighted in RED below.
Step 4
Scroll down under the Additions tab to confirm the Addition as been successfully submitted.
