How Do I Add a Model Home?
In order to add a model home, you will need to access your admin panel through the XO platform as a Developer user. Model Homes are likely added during the initial phase of the project or as additional phases or subdivisions come online in a community.
If you are a builder user, reach out to your Builder Relations user on the XO in order for them to start the process of adding a Model Home.
Step 1
Navigate to the Admin Panel of the XO.
You may only add a model home onto a lot that is already added into the platform. If this is a new phase, be sure the lots are entered into the XO prior to adding the new model home. Check out this article about adding new lots into the XO.
Step 2
Navigate to the Builders section and locate the builder who is adding the model onto one of their lots.
If this is a new builder in the community, you must add that builder into the XO prior to adding the model home. Check out this article to learn how to add a builder into the XO.
Step 3
Once you have located the builder, click on their link and scroll down towards the section labeled "available model homes". Search for the address of the lot that the model will be located and click to highlight them.
Step 4
Click on the arrow to move the lot into the box labeled "Chosen Model Homes". It should appear underneath any existing model homes. Once you see the lot in the "Chosen Model Homes' list, you can scroll to the bottom of the page and select save.
Step 5
Reach out to your builder to let them know they are free to upload a new model home onto this lot by selecting the lot, and messaging the builder through the activity panel.
