How to Add a Contract to a Spec Home?

How to Add a Contract to a Spec Home
In the XO, once the Add a Spec Home form is completed and the architectural submittal has been approved by the developer, a contract can be added to the Spec Home.

Adding a Contract to a Spec Home

Step 1

Below is the Homes & Lots page, go to the right panel for Homes and Homes Sites. Click on the icon highlighted in the RED box below for the Table View of the Homes and Home Sites. 



Step 2

From the Homes & Lots page, click on the Home icon highlighted in the RED box below for the Table View of the Homes and Home Sites. 



Step 3

Locate the spec home in which a contract needs to be added. After locating, go to the right of the table and click Add a Contract highlighted in the RED box.



Step 4

To start the Contract form, adjust the price based upon the buyer's selections of the home built being. Once completed, click Next Step in the green box in the lower right-hand corner of the form.




Step 5

Next, complete the questions regarding Buyer Information. If there is not a realtor involved and the buyer is single with no children, the next step will be the last step. Once completed, click Next Step in the green box in the lower right-hand corner of the form.



Step 6

Next, complete the form that contains the Primary Buyer information. Once completed, click Next Step in the green box in the lower right-hand corner of the form.



Step 7

In necessary, complete all fields to proceed to the next step. Once completed, click Next Step in the green box in the lower right-hand corner of the form.



Step 8

If the homebuyer has children, complete the next form by selecting the age range of each child in the household. Once completed, click Next Step in the green box in the lower right-hand corner of the form.



Step 9

The final step is to provide information if a realtor was used in the purchase process. Once completed, click Submit in the green box in the lower right-hand corner of the form.
